DBI was established in 2004 by the Nigerian Communications Commission as a world-class centre of excellence for ICT training and education. Since its founding, DBI has trained thousands in professional and academic programs. The DBI has three campuses in Abuja, Kano and Lagos from which it pursues its mandate to transform Nigeria into a knowledge-based economy.
